FAQ

Can I hire you to take photos of my event?
Absolutely. I enjoy taking an approach of documenting events as they happen, and I shy away from more traditional pre-planned photography. This, I believe, allows me to be in a position to capture a more candid, natural setting in the resulting images. Please visit my booking area to find out the best way to contact me so we can work something out.

You took pictures of my performance and/or event. Can I use the pictures from this site on my own website or MySpace profile?
Absolutely! All the pictures I put up on my website are available for anyone to use. All I ask is that you leave the “Jeremy Running Photography” logo watermark on the photo when you display it. If you have the ability to link back to my website as well, that would be excellent. Now for the disclaimer.. All the pictures available here are owned by and copyrighted to Jeremy Running Photography. I do reserve the right to disallow anyone from using these images if I see them being used inappropriately. Please respect the artists in the photos by giving credit if it is not yourself. Other than that, help yourself!

What equipment do you shoot with?
Well, too many details may expose some secrets, so let’s just say that I’m loyal to Canon and their L series lenses.

Where can I see samples of your work?
My online gallery has an extensive collection of both photo collections as well as my professional portfolio. Feel free to participate and comment on any photo you choose. Keep in mind that some of the photo sets are for client-only viewing.

In what type of photography do you specialize?
I’ve tried to explore as many sides of photography as I can in order to find my main interest. I’ve found that performance and event photography really triggers a spark in me that I love to persue. I also love to wander through our wonderful world of nature, capturing its amazing qualities in my camera. My interests also cover portraiture, either candid or posed. As long as it helps to show the human character of the subject, I’m all for it.
In the years to come, I may find other aspects of photography that grab my interest, so keep an eye on my portfolio for new additions!

What is happening behind the scenes at JeremyRunning.com?
This website runs on a Linux server hosted by midPhase. Wordpress powers the main content engine, while Gallery2 powers the image management. They are brought together by the wonderous power of the WPG2 plugin, allowing Gallery2 content to be displayed from within Wordpress pages. Wordpress is using a modified version of the freshy theme, and Gallery2 is using a modified version of the embedded Floatrix theme with the “black” color pack.
